iLs is a listening based program. It is a complimentary approach to sensory motor integration. iLs trains the brain to process sensory, cognitive and emotional information more effectively.
The child listens to the music on headphones for up to one hour at a time while moving through accompanying movement activities. The 3 components of iLs: auditory, motor and interactive language can be used together or independently, depending upon the situation and the needs of the individual.
This program can be used to impact:

- Sensory Processing: vestibular, proprioception, auditory
- Emotional Regulation
- Arousal and sleep patterns
